Game Notes: Rampage played from behind the whole game and they kept cutting the lead to a single TD but Free Agents kept scoring to increase the lead to 2 TDs and then pulled away at the end.

Game Notes: Best game of the night. The Ravens offense struggled all night, but they scored with about 1:30 left to cut the lead to 6 and then got the ball back in the red zone with 22 seconds left after an INT. They had 3 attempts to tie the game, but Summerfield's defense held to preverse a 6 point victory.

Game Notes: Game was close until the 2nd half. Hitmen led 26 to 19 at halftime and then scored the only 14 points of the 2nd half.

Game Notes: Panthers were up 25 to 14 when the Muddogs scored with 5 minutes left to cut the lead to 3. Both teams then kept trading turnovers and neither team scored the rest of the game.

#3 Fat Boys- 33    #2 Punishers- 32
Game Notes: Fat Boys scored with no time left in the 1st half & got the extra point to take a 9 point lead into halftime, which turned out to be huge. With the score 33 to 18 Punishers scored, got their 2 point conversion and then Ariel returned an INT for a TD on the next series to cut it to 1 point, but they missed the 2 point conversion. Punishers got the ball back with about 40 seconds left but the Fat Boys sealed the win with 2 sacks by Angel on the last drive.

Game Notes: 2nd II None led 26 to 6 at halftime and that score didn't change for the 1st 15 minutes of the 2nd half. Steel Curtain scored with 5 minutes left & 1 1/2 minutes left and got the ball back with 33 seconds left, but an INT sealed their fate.

Game Notes: Hacksaw rode their momentum from the previous game into this one and scored the first 20 points. It looked like they were going to run away with the game but OF&L clawed their way back into the game by scoring the next 19 points over a 20 minute period. Both teams traded TDs over the last 10 mins of the game, but Hacksaw pulled off the upset by converting their extra points and stopped OF&L on theirs.

Playoffs Week 2
---------------
Scheduling Notes: I did my best to accommodate as many teams as possible. We had to look at preferences in this order: A Div Top Seed, B Div Top Seed, C Div Top Seed, etc. I also had to consider how many refs we have available. Also, the two B divisions could not be scheduled at the same time because there are several players who play on teams in both 5 on 5 and 8 on 8 B divisions, which is why the 5 on 5 C division ended up finishing in the afternoon and why there's a gap in between the C division early games. I had no choice but to schedule the 5 on 5 B division at 11:30 and 12:40 so that they would be finished before the 8 on 8 B division top seed started playing. I know everyone wanted to finish early, but it wasn't possible. We only have so many refs and fields. I did the best I could to make everyone happy. I also realize that Capital Heat may end up playing at the same time at the Hornets, but I could not find a way to avoid this and I couldn't ignore the preferences of the top seeds over a #7 seed (I apologize for any issues this may cause, if you win your first game, but I don't have any solutions due to all the preferences of top seeds, ref situation, and field limitations).

Total Number of Registered Teams: 110 Teams (68 5 on 5; 42 8 on 8). We will have A, B, C & D divisions in 5 on 5 and A, B, & C divisions in 8 on 8.

Field location: West Jordan Middle School (7550 S. Redwood Road)
Beginning Oct. 6, 5 on 5 Weeknight games (5 on 5 ONLY) will be played at: Bicentennial Park (8680 S. 500 E., Sandy)

SCHEDULING NOTES: Every Sunday Steve will create the schedule for the upcoming Saturday through that next Thursday. Any scheduling requests need to be submitted by NO LATER than Sunday at 10 AM. You can make scheduling requests at the games on Saturdays or by sending Steve an email to ufa@mindspring.com. You may also call or text me at 801-541-0824, but it needs to be before Sunday for requests for the following Saturday through Thursday. Once it's posted it is not feasible to change it due to a variety of factors. The schedule is created each week, with numerous behind-the-scenes factors, such as making sure we don't have too many refs playing at the same times, trying to schedule around all the players who play on multiple teams to try to avoid having their various teams playing at the same time, etc. etc. etc. Please try to be as flexible as possible (especially later in the season as we approach and start the playoffs). I'm usually able to accommodate specific requests each week (but again, you must get the request in before Sunday) and then I also do my best to accommodate general preferences, but it becomes impossible to adhere to every general day or time preference simply because we have 100+ teams with 100+ different preferences and I can only schedule so many games at once, Thanks for your patience, understanding, and participation in our league.
