second TD reception with 4 minutes to play. TJ Tile had a chance at the end
as they drove into Total D territory late in the game, but they were stopped
on the 5 yard line and they couldn't get lined up fast enough to get another
play off.

Notes: Horns QB Ross Zimmerman had limited mobility with a leg injury and
it hampered his play as his team got down early and couldn't recover.

Game
Notes: Total Dest. came back from a 2 TD deficit for the 2nd time of the night
and took a 6 point lead with 1:09 to play. Quick 6 then tied the game about
30 seconds later and even got the ball back with a few seconds to play but
the game remained tied and went into our first overtime of the 2005 playoffs.
Justin Jones barely scored on a lunge on a crucial 4th down play to give Total
D a 6 point lead in overtime, but Quick 6 only needed 2 plays to score and
Barnell Fail caught the game winning extra point on a corner route.

of the half to prevent the Highlanders from tying the game and the Highlanders
never recovered from the set back.

Game
Notes: SH Baller Adam Johnson intercepted a Steve Still pass on a key play
toward the end of the game and returned it for a TD to give the Ballers a
10 point lead. The Ravens scored and got the 2 point conversion to cut the
lead to 2 but Johnson converted a 4th down with 25 seconds left to seal the
game for the Ballers.

Game
Notes: In Step held the league's highest rated offense to zero points in the
second half, which was an absolute remarkable feat. However, they made a critical
error by going for 1 after they had just scored to cut the lead to 20 to 18
with 8 minutes to play. They thought there would be plenty of additional scores,
but that would not be the case and it came back to haunt them. They had a
chance at the end, however, with the ball inside the 10 yard line, but 2 incomplete
passes sealed their fate.

Notes: The turning point in the game came with the score tied at 13. Old &
Slow were victimized with a bad snap that led to a safety. One Step Closer
added an insurance TD, but Old & Slow didn't recover from the safety.

Notes: Lakeside kept it close for a while, but the top seed in the C division
pulled away at the end.

Game
Notes: A rare 5 on 5 defensive struggle. Wreck It scored on their first 2
possessions and the Renegades scored their sole TD toward the end of the first
half. Neither team scored in the second half. The Renegades had a chance at
the end with 3 shots from the 5 yard line but couldn't get it into the end
zone.

Notes: With the scored tied at 20 late in the game MXC's strong armed QB Jordan
Kjar threw an interception that was returned for a TD. The Armadillos converted
the extra point to take a 7 point lead. Kjar redeemed himself by leading MXC
to a TD with little time on the clock but they failed to convert the extra
point and lost a heart breaker.

turn around as the Spartans were trying to score to get back in the game.
That made the score 18 to 0 and Bad Knees rolled on from there.

Game
Notes: With the Broncos leading 6 to 0, a bad snap was recovered by Aaron
Hamilton of the Broncos and he returned it for a TD with 8 minutes to play,
which completely changed the complexion of the game. Bill Thompson Club just
couldn't recover from the mistake and they tried to throw deep passes too
often to get back in the game, but it back fired.

Notes: The Spartans picked a good time to have their best performance of the
year and won their first game of the season in an elimination playoff game.

with 2 minutes to play. The Warriors added another TD on an interception return

Notes: Debry's controlled the clock and the ball from start to finish.

Game
Notes: Wolfpack took advantage of 2 errant passes by Otter QB Spencer Morris
in the first half and led 14 to 6 half way through the second half. Matt Fankhouser
scored for Otter to cut the lead to 14 to 12 with 10 minutes to play and then
Otter had a dramatic goal line stand with 1:30 left to take over at the 1
yard line. They drove 99 yards and Morris threw the game winning TD with :18
to play. Wolfpack got a break on the apparent last play of the game when a
hail mary was caught at Otter's 22 and time expired, but a roughing the passes
penalty gave Wolfpack another shot. On the ensuing play the ball was caught
by Wolfpack in the end zone, but the QB was across the line when he threw
it and Otter won a thriller on a bit of luck.

Notes: Black Rhino played a mistake free game to beat Nem Boyz for the 2nd
time this season.

6 scored on the next play on a 70 yard bomb and dominated the rest of the
game.

Notes: The Couches took a 7 to 6 lead into halftime and then scored the next
2 TD's to take a 19 to 6 lead. The Pine Riders came back to get within 7 but

Notes: TruAudio couldn't slow down Da Bear's offense and they pulled away
at the end for a first round victory.

Notes: Trouble took an early 13 to 0 lead. Punt then scored 14 points in a
row to take the lead in the second half, but Trouble scored again with 6 minutes
to play and kept Punt out of the end zone to preserve the win.

Notes: Trigenix QB Danny Copinga returned an interception 70 yards for a TD,
ran for a 70 yard TD run and had over 120 rushing yards total and their defense
stopped Truaudio in the red zone 4 or 5 times.

Game
Notes: Key moment in the game happened in the first half when the Couches
stopped Trouble on 4 plays inside the 5. The key goal line stand turned out
to be the difference as the Couches scored once in the second half, while
their defense pitched a shutout.

Notes: With the Avengers leading 19 to 12 with 10 minutes to play Darren Allen
intercepted a pass and threw his 3rd TD pass on the ensuing drive to cut the
lead to 1 and changed the momentum of the game. Wreck It had a good chance
at the end but a 4th down pass was caught just barely out of the back of the
end zone and the Avengers held on to the victory.

Notes: Regular Season co-MVP Aaron Fendor had 2 inteceptions and a dozen receptions
to help Blueball to a convincing lead. Unfortunately for them, Rumble only
had 4 players so that certainly didn't help.

Notes: It was a see saw battle during the first half. Empyre led 22 to 16
at the half but the Red Devils scored 20 straight points. Empyre rebounded
and got back within 8 points and go the ball back to give them a shot, but
the Red Devils stopped them on downs.

champs with 6 total interceptions.

Notes: Empyre seemed to have this game in hand when the Highlanders scored
with 42 seconds left to cut Empyre's lead to 26 to 24 but missed the extra
point attempt. Empyre only needed to complete a few passes to run the clock
out but Bob Markus made a spectacular interception on Empyre's first play
and then scored a TD on a pitch from Dan Grundman after a 30 yard completion
from George White with 19 seconds left. Markus also caught the 2 point conversion,
giving the Highlanders an unlikely comeback win in unfortable fashion.

Notes: The first half was an offensive shootout. After the Armadillos punted
on their first drive, both teams scored on every possession of the first half
until time ran out on Quick 6's final drive of the half with the score tied
at 26. The second half was a different story as Quick 6 scored 4 straight
TD's, 2 of which came on interception returns.

Notes: Regular season MVP QB Nicholas Vranes bounced back from a subpar performance
last week to shine in this match up. D'Shawn Crockett also had several spectacular
TD receptions and some stellar defensive plays as Jose Canseco pounded the
Red Devils.

Notes: The Muddogs were never really in the game as the Panther's defense
was nothing short of spectacular. Jake Anderson had 3 interceptions for the
Muddogs, but he caught more passes on defense than on offense as the Panthers
intercepted 5 or 6 passes and sent the Muddogs to the loser's bracket.

Notes: Joey Garrard had 3 interceptions and a TD pass in the first half for
the Broncos. Robert Densley tied the game with a TD run with 8 minutes to
play. In overtime, James Barnard caught the game winning TD and David Bonnet
batted down Bad Knees 4th down pass attempt to preserve the victory.

Jimmy Atkins had 2 first half TD's and Alder could not recover from an early
20 to 0 deficit. The Hornets look like a team of destiny. It will be tough
for anyone to beat them. In fact, they are complete enough of a team to possibly
beat the best of the A teams as well.

Notes: Both teams scored on their 1st play to start the game. Black Rhino
scored on their next play, as well and Gamecocks tied it on their next possession.
The offensive shootout then became one-sided as Black Rhino scored 2 consecutive
TD's, including one on the last play of the half on a tipped ball. Gamecocks
couldn't recover from the momentum shift and Black Rhino won easily.
